What does the Professional Home Economist (PHEc) designation mean to you? As graduation season approaches for many university students, OHEA is looking for our PHEc's input! We will be running a New Graduates/How to Become a PHEc series in June to encourage students to pursue the designation, as well as reduce confusion around the process of applying. A few years ago, multiple individuals were featured on the website regarding what the designation meant to them. We want to refresh this and update the information. We are looking for OHEA members to email what the PHEc designation means to them as an individual, professional, educator, etc. This holds especially true to those that were featured or have been interviewed on the blog...has your response changed or evolved over the last few years? By submitting this information, you are agreeing to be featured on OHEA's blog and social media, and in promotional material for the Association. Individuals who would like to participate can email Rachelle Provost (VP Communications) a brief description at [email protected] by June 14th. You can also attach a photo to be uploaded.
We look forward to your responses and seeing what the designation means to you!
