We are a student affiliate group of the Food and Nutrition Program. Our mission is to raise awareness of the many possibilities within a career as a Professional Home Economist, and how it relates to our studies of Nutrition and Food and other fields. We will aim to promote the personal and professional development of all TMU (formerly Ryerson) students with an interest in nutrition, dietetics, and human ecology.

The Association of Canadian Home Economics (Human Ecology) Students is a network of students across the country that are studying or interested in the field of Home Economics.
Currently, the association hosts an annual conference that rotates between University Club members at different locations across Canada during the first week of January (usually Thursday to Saturday). The purpose of the association is to bridge the physical gap between provinces to connect like-minded students and promote the profession through activities and resource sharing. |
