Taylor Page, P.H.Ec.

Hello, my name is Taylor Page. I graduated from Brescia University College with a Bachelor of Science in Foods and Nutrition. After graduating I have taken courses including: Introduction to Tea, Quality Assurance, Managing Food Recalls, and Allergens. I am interested in using my nutrition knowledge and PHEc designation in a product development and regulatory affairs position. I love cooking and baking in my spare time, always trying new recipes. I am excited to be a PHEc and have the opportunity to learn more about the profession.

Gurneet Dhami, P.H.Ec.

Gurneet Dhami is a nutrition graduate from Ryerson University's BASc and is in pursuit of her MSc AHN at Mount Saint Vincent University in Fall 2017. My journey into dietetics started with the cookbook, "Ultimate Foods for Ultimate Health" by Liz Pearson, R.D., and Mairlyn Smith, P.H.Ec. This book was not a regular cookbook with pictures and recipes; it explained food through research, nutrition advice, lifestyle modification techniques and recipe modifications for chronic disease prevention. From the age of thirteen, my passion of dietetics emerged in hand with my interest in promoting healthy lifestyle choices. From that point on knew that I wanted to become a Registered Dietitian and Home Economist. I intended to merge my various professional backgrounds in promoting and embracing diversity through professional development and mentorship. Tess Ryan, P.H.Ec.

Tess Ryan was born and raised in Thunder Bay Ontario. She grew up being very active and involved in many sports such as cross country skiing, triathlons, dance and soccer. While attending Western University for a specialization in nutrition and families and a minor in psychology, she built up her resume and gained experience working in the hospital, long-term care and for Canadian Diabetes Association. She now does private nutrition consulting that offers assessments, meal-plans, grocery tours and much more!
