  1. June Mathews is a fine human being, supporter of Home Economics and loyal friend
  2. Jason is a change agent
  3. Leslie McCaskill knows how to engage students for good works
  4. We must be a caretaker of our planet and our health
  5. Money management needs to be understood and personalized
  6. Home Economics needs to return to Ontario High Schools
  7. Dietetic Internships need political support via like-minded organizations
  8. Margaret, Mary and Linda are the best travelling companions, ever
  9. Roberts rules doesn’t appear in any legislation neither Ontario’s Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, 2010 (ONCA) to come into force 2020 or Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act (S.C. 2009, c. 23) or in an 850-page book by Canada’s board governance guru Dr. Richard Leblanc
  10. Communications outreach from the OHEA is great

  1. OHEA continues to be a fabulous network of professional members;
  2. OHEA conferences get better and better each year;
  3. June Matthews and the OHEA Executive are thoughtful of members’ time; they update best practices to expedite agendas with efficiency;
  4. Brescia University College facilities and its students ROCK!
  5. Mairlyn Smith lifts your spirits simply by walking into the room;
  6. Wash your hands often including your thumbs. We’ll never forget, Carol.
  7. Overdue updates to my Will are on today’s To-Do List. Thanks Bruce.
  8. An overstocked closet inventory is now under review; Thanks Kelly.
  9. Dr. Joe Schwartz, is an excellent food-myth ghost buster and magician;
  10. Retirement is the perfect time-of-life to:
  • give back to one’s profession,
  • be entertained and continue to learn,
  • re-new acquaintances and
  • be awed and inspirited by capable students.
